InstruVox is now teaching all lessons online!
In response to "lockdown" and cessation of all face-to-face lessons, we have adapted all lessons for online teaching and learning. We purchased a fabulous studio quality microphone, a Samson G Track Pro and a new Logitech camera with enhanced resolution including wide screen and inlay capabilities (for sharing teaching resources). For our pianists, we are feeding the piano audio directly through to the broadcasted video via wired link and we've improved our Wifi. Experimenting with the different platforms for video has been fun and informative and we tend to settle for Zoom, although Skype or Whatsapp are firm favourites for some of our students. For those who just wished to use a mobile phone one-to-one, we have found "Whereby" a good option. If you aren't sure about online lessons, give it a try! All newcomers (and existing students) will receive a 15 minute online lesson, free of charge (and that's in addition to our free lesson offer for new students signing up before the end of May - please check the website for more details).
