Singing out with Camphonia's 2nd Rehearsal

Our 2nd rehearsal on March 15th rang out to some fabulous sounds, including a lively "Gospel Medley" in three parts, "The Diggers Song" (a 16th Century Protest Song), a traditional Ghanaian round and a Hebrew song "Shalom Chaverim"! After our first rehearsal, I'm getting some excellent "requests" so we are learning new songs at every rehearsal. Suggested repertoire is encouraged to reflect the enthusiasm and preferences of our singers and we are gaining new members each time. Currently, we are still in a pilot mode, but members of the wider community are most welcome to contact me, to see if there is space for a "taster" session and join us as we return after Easter. Our future dates to meet at Harston Baptist Church are: Tuesdays: April 19th, May 3rd and May 17th. There will be no meeting in the Summer Half Term Holiday.
